Why do we exist

Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) faces severe shortfall of leadership and expertise in population and health research; and capacity building efforts are urgently required to address its emerging population and public health challenges.

While increased funding initiatives for research have doubtless generated high quality data volume, there is lack of capacity for advanced data analysis to inform policy as well as lack of expertise in translating data into well-argued and understandable reports. The Hendrick International Research Group is in the business of addressing these concerns through the provision of its multi-faceted projects.
